Complaints are never responded to
Nobody likes to hear complaints. But AC takes it to another level. AC could use their emailing or messaging features to respond to messages, but their preference is to leave their customers hanging. With the recent removal of loyalty benefits also, not worth being loyal to a company who feels no loyalty to you. Why the three stars then? The app IS pretty.

Great, but crashes.
I love the app though it crashes, one time my boarding pass caused the app to crash as I was wanting to get on the plane. I feel this needs to be super stabl.

The Air Canada app was very easy to use, seamless check-in and flight updates. However, the Vancouver terminal was very disorganized.

It's not the app, it's Air Canada. You guys couldn't have told us that our flight was delayed by at least an hour as soon as the problems surfaced in Toronto? We now have to sit in Bermuda's airport for 3 hours with nothing to do, when we could have stayed at our VRBO for those hours and played cards or had a nap, or suntanned. But no, we have to sit in a freaking airport that has nothing to do. This reminds me why I hate flying with Air Canada.

Some bugs
The look is nice, feels crisp. But very often l, there's just error messages that pop up at different locations which makes you feel less confident of the integrity of the app. Can't even retrieve my payment info, which seems weird for an airline app dealing with payments in the thousands.

Terrible experience with this App and the Aeroplan service. Barely 15 minutes with the app, trying to get set up, and they deactivated me, flagged my account, and then asked me to call their customer service who then said I needed to send identifying documents and proof of address to their compliance unit. I have absolutely no idea why I am being treated in this manner, but I have sent in the required documents, and now they say it will take weeks to resolve.

Aeroplan points stolen. Can't talk to a human customer support person to report fraud. Wants all your security information but you can't answer the questions if you been hacked. Should have a singular number to report fraud and talk to a real person to help you. Wasted 4 hours and still haven't talked to a customer service representative. Finally spoke to representative and wow my issue was resolved in less than 30 minutes and my points returned to me. Very impressive!
