Avoid at all costs
Alarm.com is absolute garbage. If your builder offers it to you for free, pay them not to install the product instead. The hardware is both over complicated and lacking basic features. The app looks like it hasn't been redesigned since iPhone 3GS, and provides nothing. When you eventually have to reach out to support, they will ignore your email for a week, then reply asking questions you have already provided all the answers too, and after that they will say, oh that feature doesn't matter and refuse to help you.

What exactly are they monitoring
When I need to view the camera, it will not load. I get alerts all day, but when I need to see what is going on around my home the app doesn't load my cameras.

Not user friendly at all!! Also, the support description will have one direction while the actual app has another description. The support app should have an exact version of the user if they used a smart system. Very very worrisome!!

I have a Smasung Galaxy S22 and the app does communicate with the system however it never updates the status of the alarm. It then gives me an error code. Frustrating.

Can no longer login via the app after the latest update. Hopefully after writing support they will resolve the login issues

Queries are now broken
The developers added dark mode, thank you! However the code that checks and updates status of Zwave sensors that worked perfectlyin the last version is now unreliable. Example: The app no longer can distinguish between my Zwave lights being on or off. The thermostat now blinks temperature constantly (denoting a change is being made) and does not reflect the actual temperature as sent from the sensor. If devs change underlying code, they should test and understand the effects before checking them in. Poorly done.

Since I got a new phone & installed the new updated app, I get absolutely ZERO NOTIFICATIONS. I checked all my notifications they are EXACTLY the same as on my old phone. And I get nothing. Alarm company has even been out, everything is fine. Agitated that I can't get notifications of any kind.
