Generally good, but it can be better. Can't see route schedules to see the best departure or arrival station when you have several options to choose from. Especially when you only want to travel on an Acela.

JavaScript?! Really?!

JavaScript has always been a huge security nightmare and was outdated a decade ago. Why does the AmTrak app suddenly require it? The app worked great for years. All you had to do was keep it running. Now you've updated it to be a giant security problem. Maybe it's time for Amtrak to hire new programmers because the ones they have seem to want to drag us back twenty years.

I can no longer book a train. After I added my travel information it shows that I must select if I want to have travel protection. However, there are no buttons and I can't continue. I was able to go around it by using the website on my phone instead, and I can see how the travel protection choice is supposed to look like.

I don't use this App often. I get the best deals and updated info at the station. It's nice to track points and get travel info. My main issue is the alerts, they're never accurate or on time. Delayed like the trains 😒
