This is awful. I used to be able to swipe / scroll across within a category and select an article to read. Now I am presented with one article per category which I am obliged to select if I want access to other stories in same category. This is fundamentally broken. BBC might as well change this to be same format as previous offering. It will happen sooner or later, might as well acknowledge it and fix it now.

So frustrating that you can personalise "my news" with what you want to see but every time the app opens it defaults to the "home" page. What's the point in the personalisation if it's not immediately visible!

Latest upgrade is retrograde in my opinion. I used to regularly check the old app throughout the day and found it easy to use and set up my preferences. This new design is less user centric and feels like the news is being curated for me, rather than by me.

Unfortunately since they updated the app it just isn't the same. It used to be the best news app out there, clearly organised and easy to find anything. While the basic organisation of topics is the same the actual organisation in the app is messy and unclear. It also insists on opening longer articles in Chrome now, which is unacceptable.

App is significantly worse than the update a few months ago - 'my news' used to be so much simpler and recommend choices, now that's impossible to select all news types you'd want, and the front pages is a waste of time only showing a few articles. Giving up with BBC News and moving over to Sky News.

Terrible upgrade, used to use the app and especially the widget daily. No widget and barely usable now, looking for new app to get my news.
