It is a revolving app - no way to see my first account

So what happened to the previous app?;why couldn't you update that one instead of asking people to download a totally new app that doesn't even work properly? If you wanted to spend money just because you made a profit of 3.2billion during 2022-2023 how about giving me a slice of that profit? Rather than paying useless people called app developers. I make more decent suggestions than majority of your employees that hate their job anyways and get paid UNDESERVEDLY Decent wages

Unfortunately British Gas has lumbered its customers with a new app which isn't fit for purpose. Vital information like current balances and the ability to check energy usage is missing. The previous app was a pleasure to use, I don't know why it was changed but this new system is a disaster.

How is it even possible to replace a half decent App with a terrible one? New one can't see previous meter readings, can't see usage, doesn't advise you on how much your direct debit should be.

you switched me to a new system and completely downgraded all of the functionality I used to have like daily usage in £ and kw - something I used regularly. how can I get moved back to the old system and old app?

Very poor app doesn't tell you what energy you have been using like the old app did. British gas are just trying to stop customers from seeing how they can cut back on energy on a day to day basis

So now my homecare is on the old app or a few clunky links on the new app limked to the website where I have to login again. All previous meter readings gone. Smart meter readings stopped for a year and now no readings on the new app so no idea if readings are being taken.Just when the old one was working fine with a few glitches you have replaced with this new one that must have been designed by who knows in 10 minutes. Would give this 0 stars or a minus if I was able.Please revert back ASAP.

Where has the usage information gone? First reaction is very negative, a step backwards ? - hope you listen to all the comments and respond in a positive manner.

We’ve built a brand-new app to support customers whose accounts are already on our new billing system. 
 
Unsure if that is you?  
 
If your account begins with a letter, e.g. A, great news, you are on the new system supported by this app. 
 
If your account begins with a number, e.g. 85, don't worry, whilst this app will not work for you yet, you can still access your account online. You don’t need to do anything, we’ll let you know once you’ve moved to our new system and can start using this app. 
 
What does this app do now? 
 
• Manage your account balance  
• View recent transactions and bills 
• Make a payment 
• Amend or set up Direct Debit 
• Submit a meter reading for more accurate bills 
• Manage multiple energy accounts 
• Allows saving passwords through the Keystore functionality in a secure way 
• Have some fixes and optimizations included in this update 
• Fingerprint and face unlock 
• Stay permanently logged in with our improved login experience
