Some suggestions
Many of the videos keep crashing after playing for 10 seconds or so. Put podcasts under their own drop down menu instead of in the news feed. Reduce the size of the black header on the desktop version.

Ad Click during scroll is such a cheap scam
Fix your app so that everytime you scroll you don't accidentally click on an Ad just buy slowing the scroll down. The commit is trigger happy instead of actual presses just so you guys can get cheap ad revenue at the expense of user experience. It makes the fact you tell honest news a joke because you are obviously making it so accidental ad clicks seem on purpose… and if you didn't intend this then your app team is incompetent and needs a new leader over that group. Your news is great! Your app is either poorly designed or intentionally deceitful in regards to ad clicks… either is not ok.

Videos keep buffering
The app would be great but since the last big change to the app the videos just keep buffering. I know is not my internet as I can switch to other news apps and not encounter any problems loading their videos. Disappointing.

I can't see the status bar anymore. I use the status bar to check the time while I read articles. Big miss.

App not working on AppleTV 4K
I have a problem. I have downloaded the App in the past, but it's not working on my AppleTV 4K (1st Gen.) in Germany? When I want to contact CNN and it's support I am gonna missrouting. Is there a problem? Because there is still advertisement in Germany for the App and I still live there. I am also not using VPN or equivalent. Otherwise it's hard to recommend it.

New app version is awful + freezing
What is up with the new layout of the app? Give me the latest story about Ukraine, not that plus five related stories. What happened to the headline page and the very intuitive, easy to scroll interface? Edit: It's weeks since I sent the above review and the app is even worse. It's freezing constantly, I have to “hard close” it and reopen just to have it happen again. Please, please fix this awful “upgrade.”

Great news app with one major problem. It will not play any videos on my phone, moto power g 2022. Fix that and I will give the app 5 stars.

App Performance
The CNN app has been a disappointment for awhile now. I have found that the app will randomly crash, not load content, loose connection, and other random issues that effect performance. Also, CNN please develop som sort of streaming arrangement for those without cable or paying for something like Hulu TV just to watch your channel.
