The app is ok. I think the algorithm they use for deciding how much to offer you daily is not good. Also, settlement dates set 1 week after you borrow are ridiculous. The app has access to my bank acct and has a record of my paydays. So why set a settlement date that's outside of my payday.

DO NOT USE!!! They will steal money from you. I took a cash advance and they got the money back in full on my payday; however, 4 days prior in a separate transaction using my banks account and routing number, they took $1 out of my account and have not refunded it. You can't contact an actual representative to get it fixed and I have submitted a request to get it taken care of twice now. Use Earnin instead.

After I got their $5.00 advance I found it took three to five days to get it so I cancelled it and tried to close the account. Unfortunately they won't let me close it because of unresolved issues. I don't have any issues to solve. A 5 dollar advance that would be due the very next day is absolutely useless and unprofessional and unethical. I have tried a lot of payday apps and have not found any that are actually helpful to me. This app however did promise me $500.00 and failed their claim

The app is saying that my bank doesn't show any source of income even though Ive had a few deposits, so its saying I don't qualify for an advance! Then why did I link my account if you can't see that there have been direct deposits!

Confused ? When I first used the Dave app it let me get 125 dollars I gave a tip and paid the fee made it 143 dollars. For the second time it allowed me to get 200 dollars I gave the tip and paid the fee bringing me to 243 dollars I even was able to get up to 400 dollars paid the tip and fee 445 dollars but since that it hasn't gone over 125 dollars that's not right at all

I DO NOT recommend this app. I absolutely loved Dave and loved my cute debit card and was ready to change my entire work direct deposits and savings and only use Dave. Then, over a month ago, probably longer; even though membership fees kept getting auto withdrawn, the app said membership was paused. I try to unpause and get an error. I have contacted Dave support over 20 times. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE will help me. Try Chime or any other company. There's zero support at Dave.
